Wien Museum

Since 2022, Wien Museum has been digitizing a massive archive of 180,000+ objects, but the interface felt more like a systematic archive than a living collection. Working in an interdisciplinary team, I conducted benchmarking to understand best practices and designed the new navigation, filtering, and procedural content to improve findability, navigability, and discoverability, creating an experience that fosters curiosity and serendipity.

For my Bachelor’s thesis I explored the ways social media design could better nurture its user’s social well-being, resulting in a calendar-based social platform. Since its completion, other social planning apps (Apple Invites and Partiful) have garnered widespread attention, validating the insights and the resulting concept.
